Domus Dei Members Enjoy a Sunny Social at Marina Bay Café
This past weekend, members of Domus Dei Lodge 5151 gathered for a relaxed and cheerful morning at the Marina Bay Café in Eastney, making the most of the crisp sea air and good company. The social breakfast club, held just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge, was well attended — and well received!
Laughter and conversation flowed freely over mugs of coffee and delicious full English breakfasts. It was a brilliant chance for members to connect outside of the Lodge room, catch up on life, and welcome newer faces into the fold.
Moments like these remind us that Freemasonry isn’t just about ritual and tradition — it’s also about fellowship, support, and enjoying time together.
The Worshipful Master shared a few words that captured the heart of the morning:
“Brethren,
A heartfelt thank you to all who attended the breakfast meeting — it was truly wonderful to see so many of you there, along with your families, children, and even a few four-legged friends!
It was especially lovely to welcome our Lodge widow, Tess, whose presence is always a joy, as well as the three prospective candidates who joined us. It’s great to see such enthusiasm and interest in the Lodge’s future.
Mornings like that really capture the spirit of our fraternity — fellowship, warmth, and a strong sense of community. Thank you again for making it such a special occasion.S&F

Worshipful Master”
The Lodge is already looking ahead to more great social events in the near future. Whether it’s another breakfast by the bay, a pub quiz evening, or something a little more adventurous, Domus Dei is committed to nurturing the bonds of friendship that sit at the heart of all we do.
Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming dates. If this breakfast was anything to go by, you won’t want to miss the next one!
